Work Placements

Reminder: All reports for both Work Placement 2 and Work Report should be submitted in 2 copies (make a 3rd copy which you can keep for yourself as we will not give back your reports) by end of November 2010 for those who have registered for this semester.
Please also make sure that the host firm sends the evaluation form by e-mail (chanssc@uom.ac.mu) or by fax (465-6184) directly to me as soon as you have finished your placement.

    i have already given to u my work placement form long b4 the holidays. I have already started my work placement but if ever i have to send it again to u, do let me know.

    Dear Rizwana,
    Yes I already have it. No need to send again. Are you doing interesting things?

    @ Brayan,
    Are you a Communication student? If you are, you will have to do a placement after the first semester of your second year. But nothing prevents you from doing a placement on your own. I woul in fact encourage those who can to do additional placements to beef up your experience.

    Je suis a la recherche d’un/e journaliste pour la compagnie Route Sixty Six Co Ltd qui publie les magazines « Oxygene » et « Batimag ».

    Ses responsabilités seront les suivantes :

    Ecrire des articles sur la forme, sante, sports ainsi que la maison et la construction,
    • Réfléchir à de nouveaux concepts et projets pour nos magazines
    • Rédiger des actualités et des commentaires pour les magazines
    • Recueillir les informations au moyen d’interviews, d’enquêtes ou d’observations.

    Précédente expérience dans le même poste est souhaitée.
    • Connaissance et intérêt dans le secteur de la santé et de la construction souhaitée.
    • Bonne connaissance de la langue française et anglaise.
