Update (25th November 20009): In order to ensure that the dissertation research process goes smoothly, ALL students who intend to register for the dissertation next semester and who will then be supposed to submit in March 2010 should produce a first draft of their dissertation by 20th January 2010.
This deadline will allow us to advise you on whether to proceed with registration in January (deadline will be 30th January 2010 for module registration) and avoid last minute panic and sub-standard work. As you know, dissertation carries 8 credits (10 credits for students registered in 2004 and 2005) and if you register but do not submit the dissertation, you run the risk of losing a lot on your CPA and your degree classification may be greatly affected.
