This was the last session for Semester 1. We meet again in Semester 2.
For the holiday break, there are two assignments to be completed:
- Holiday assignment 1: Please post the team composition and the organisation chosen on the blog by the 15 December. Presentations to be done as from the second week of Semester 2.
- Press release exercise: the completed assignment should be ready and submitted as from the first week of Semester 2.

Review of last lecture
I will collect the Press Release assignment.
We will also discuss the upcoming presentation. Please bring all your material so that I may see progress made so far in each team.
Presentations will start. There will be a draw to determine order of presentations. All teams need to be present. Please remember that all team members should speak. Total duration per team should not exceed 15 minutes. There will be collective marks for content and individual marks for oral performance.

Class on crisis communication. All teams to be finalised for the last assignment (mock press conference in a crisis situation).
We finish discussing the notes on crisis communication. All teams have to be finalised by this week. Please input your team composition and company chosen in the comments section before coming to class.
No class. However all teams are expected to work on their mock press conference scheduled for 24th April. Please remember that each team gets 10 minutes for presentation + 5-10 minutes for Q&A. All students are expected to arrive at 10.00 sharp (room to be communicated) and to stay throughout the session. All students are expected to participate as presenters but also as journalists for the Q&A (marks will be given).
There will be a draw at the beginning of the session to determine order of presentation.

Since four groups still need to present, we will have an additional session on Monday 5th May as from 9 a.m. Room to be announced. I will also use the session to give back all assignments and marks for Continuous Assessment, to brief you and answer any questions you may have for final exams. All students are expected to be present.
